The Collector represents the highest tier of Wenwan walnuts selected by ZenWenwan.
Here, we look beyond everyday quality. A pair may earn its place because of an uncommon cultivar, exceptional size, unusually deep texture, distinctive natural form, outstanding shell quality, or the difficulty of finding two walnuts that match at this level.
Shape, ridge structure, dimensions, weight, texture and overall presence are considered together. Some pairs are classical examples of celebrated Wenwan varieties; others are unusual natural forms that may be difficult to encounter again.
Because every walnut grows individually, truly remarkable matching cannot be manufactured. It must be found.
Each listing shows the actual pair offered for sale, allowing collectors to choose the exact form, grain and character that speaks to them.
