Huakunlong — Huakun Dragon Collector Wenwan Walnut Pair | 华坤龙 | 49.0mm x 47.0mm | HKL-1B4

Huakunlong — Huakun Dragon

Meet Huakunlong (Huakun Dragon), a named variety in the Chinese tradition of wenwan hand walnuts. This listing is for one individually identified natural pair from the Collector Selection. The pair shown in the product photographs is the pair offered here, not a generic illustration.

The Story Behind the Name

Huakunlong carries the evocative image of a dragon in its name. It appeals to collectors drawn to distinctive variety identities and the visual language of natural walnut ridges; the actual pattern of this numbered pair is best appreciated in the product gallery.

About This Exact Pair · HKL-1B4

The point of selecting a numbered pair is to choose the actual two walnuts, not an idealised stock photograph. Compare their natural features in the image gallery before deciding whether their character suits you.

Its two recorded measurements are 49.0 mm at the edge (bian, 邊) and 47.0 mm across the belly (du, 肚). They are two different measuring directions—not width and height. No height measurement is provided, and a tall or low profile cannot be established from these numbers alone.

Why Collect Wenwan Walnuts?

Wenwan walnuts are appreciated as natural objects meant to be held, observed and cared for over time. The experience is tactile and personal: subtle changes in surface appearance may develop with regular handling, but colour and patina vary by walnut and care routine. No particular patina colour or timeline is guaranteed.

Care

• Handle with clean, dry hands and use a clean, dry, soft brush for routine care.
• Keep away from water, prolonged humidity, harsh heat and rapid temperature changes.
