Ci Wawa — Porcelain Doll Collector Wenwan Walnut Pair | 瓷娃娃 | 38.0mm x 38.0mm | CWW-1C6

Ci Wawa — Porcelain Doll

Meet Ci Wawa (Porcelain Doll), a named variety in the Chinese tradition of wenwan hand walnuts. This listing is for one individually identified natural pair from the Collector Selection. The pair shown in the product photographs is the pair offered here, not a generic illustration.

The Story Behind the Name

Ci Wawa means Porcelain Doll. The playful name suggests delicacy and charm, but it describes a naturally grown wenwan walnut variety rather than a ceramic object or a carved figurine. A collector can appreciate the contrast between its gentle name and the organic character of the shell.

About This Exact Pair · CWW-1C6

Consider this pair for its named variety and its individual presence rather than any promise of perfect matching. Natural lines and small variations are part of what make an exact-pair collectible meaningful.

Its two recorded measurements are 38.0 mm at the edge (bian, 邊) and 38.0 mm across the belly (du, 肚). They are two different measuring directions—not width and height. No height measurement is provided, and a tall or low profile cannot be established from these numbers alone.

Why Collect Wenwan Walnuts?

Wenwan walnuts are appreciated as natural objects meant to be held, observed and cared for over time. The experience is tactile and personal: subtle changes in surface appearance may develop with regular handling, but colour and patina vary by walnut and care routine. No particular patina colour or timeline is guaranteed.

Care

• Handle with clean, dry hands and use a clean, dry, soft brush for routine care.
• Keep away from water, prolonged humidity, harsh heat and rapid temperature changes.
• Store dry and ventilated when not in use; avoid unnecessary oil, chemicals or abrasive treatment.
• Refer to the actual photographs when assessing the natural markings of this pair.
